In terms of content and crowd...maybe last years success will inject some life back into (if it's even scheduled this year). I think it's a good idea, but has to be better promoted through Athletic Dept. to get the word out to the students & Upstate area especially.

I miss J Dew more and more each year, one of those you don't know what you got until it's gone kind of things.

The couple of college kids they had doing emceeing last year had no enthusiasm, not very good. Not saying I could do better, but they don't select me generally to get on the mic at events.

Or any consistent MC. It’s just a mixture of students who aren’t very good at it and that middle aged country singer looking guy who also isn’t very good.

When the college basketball calendar changed

All of the Midnight Madness stuff went away. In the old days, basketball could not start practice until Oct. 15. Today's rules allow teams to practice almost the entire year. There was an excitement at a lot of places about the start of practice on Oct. 15. Today, games start the first week of November.
