A lot of the TE threat can be replaced with the presence of Tristan Smith on drag and slant routes - much like we used Jordan Leggett.
I watched Tristan run his slants over the middle and behind the LBs yesterday and was impressed. He is a quick and huge target with good separation and great hands.

But, I do agree that if we can also get some good TE play, the combination of WRs, TEs and RBs in the passing sets can be devastating to any defense.
I don't want to downplay what I also saw yesterday with using the RB in the pass routes - wheel routes and quick dump passes over the OL were executed very well.

Yes we kept force feeding him the ball last year when he should have been the last option . Just mind boggling . He is like our 5th or 6th best option

In order to feed Cole turner the ball, you have to take it out of the hands of Antonio, TJ, Wesco, etc. these 3 are much better than turner and it’s not close .
