What are you smoking? We lost to an LSU in 2019 made up entirely of transfers. The ACC champion last year were all Portal players. Two of Michigan's top defenders, two starts on their offensive line, and their starting tight end were Portal players. Washington had 10 portal players, including 4 starters on defense and their starting 1,200 yard, 16 touchdown running back. Every single playoff team for the past 3 years have had at least 7 Portal players on their roster.

I think you can say it hasn't been proven an entire team can be built from Portal players, but it is absolutely, undisputedly proven that you need Portal players to fill in holes and win in the modern game.
