Two of the three eggs for Jackie and Shadow have hatched. Earlier this evening Jackie was letting them pick on some type of animal she had a bite from. Fascinating to watch nature! Not sure if the third egg is going to hatch but at least there are two newbies in the nest already.

I haven't checked on them since junk yard tiger® hasn't posted updates, understandably so since his wife has had health issues. Great to see this on the webcam.

I'm in Iowa to visit parents and ice fish, well the stupid winter has them with no snow, no ice on their pond, and two eagle hanging out. Not opposed to the eagles but they are a full month ahead of nesting schedule up here. This is an opportunity for lots of egg mortality when there is such early spring weather. They could still get a foot of snow tomorrow or first of April.
