Update on Blue Ridge Pkwy

No problem from Soco Rd to Hwy 441 moab®. Just got back from 4 days of riding most roads around Maggie Valley. The Pkwy is now closed between Hwy 215 & Hwy 276, NW of Brevard. No problems from the beginning at 441 across Soco Rd and on past Hwy 74 all the way to 215 where it is closed due to a bad cave-in and will prolly be closed for ???months??? Be sure and Google Map the area you will be using as it seems that road closures change on a daily basis. By August many minor closures will be repaired. HTH

Wow, I have not heard about that closure and I live in the county. Roads are being worked on all over the place here in WNC. Pack your patience.

Isn't 1-40 closed for the next two weeks because of the new rock slide at the NC/Tenn line?

Don't know for how long but it is closed right now due to the new slide. A friend from Nashville was coming to my house Wednesday night and got routed around on Hwy 25 up to Hot Springs and then over to Weaverville and back to I-40.
