There are over a 1000 athletes in the portal. Several were starters. Are they chasing nil???? Who are advising these kids, family, boosters, agents??? Surely these guys don't all think they have NBA potential. Not a single person that entered the portal from Clemson will ever sniff a NBA roster. Guess everybody thinks they should be a starter which probably isn't the case for a majority of these so called student athletes. Good luck to them but more often then not it doesn't get any better at their next school. Maybe I'm completely wrong...

Most of them are going for Pay-For-Play. It's what college basketball and football have devolved to unfortunately.

he’s got a great chance to excel in the NBA. Physically he’s basically Kevin Durant; mentally he’s Kevin Spacey. He’s very gifted athletically which is why it’s so frustrating to watch him play.

played the worst since he got to Clemson. He regressed so far as the year went on. Likeable kid but glad he is someone else's problem.

There are not even close to enough teams with NIL support for 1000 kids to get paid on top the ones already being paid. Yes, many players enter the Portal looking for money but many more just want to play, get better and then look for money.
