“What he brings is the toughness. He brings respect. He brings the mindset you want in all of your backers. When you walk through this building, he is all over the walls and that is pretty cool. He is in all the pictures, in all the storytelling and videos, the scripts on the walls."

“That brings immediate respect to the guys. They watched him play. They have seen the cut ups. They have watched his highlights and saw him make critical plays in critical moments on the big stage. Some of the biggest plays in this program’s history.”

“I love his mindset,” Allen said. “He is learning the system, too. So, I am teaching him everything. He is a sponge. He is smart, but he has an edge about him, which is what I love.

“Our linebackers have to be able to lead and they have to be able to produce.”

I have to say I think Boulware might end up with that same forever intensity as BV in that part of him will always coach in a way you can tell he is using every ounce of control to not grab a helmet and go out there and play.
