Over the next few months, they will gather my stem cells and then later reintroduce them in what is basically a reboot of my immunity system.
My question for you: "Brave New World" or is it "Just a box of chocolates"...? ;~)

Does your immunity system keep you safe from vampires or werewolves?

That science is a miracle. Need to educate the MAGA masses about what medical research gives them.

have Trauma Level 1 emergency surgery on my brain. A globe-shaped tumor on one brain lobe, a loaf-shaped tumor on the other.
The head of Neurosurgery handled it personally. They drill in, do a broad endoscopic clipping of both tumors to forward to Pathology for the
purpose of determining that these two new tumors are of the same variety as the cancer I 've been getting treatment for to date. They were.
Good thing!

Government grants to universities for medical and science research are a great investments of tax dollars. Of course, it helps to believe in medicine and science.

It was experimental at that point, probably much more mainstream now. It's hard to say how effective it was for her, but I'm sure it's a lifesaver for many people. This is also an example of the types of cancer research that are being massively defunded at NIH and universities by people who have no clue how these research systems and models function.

There is no proof that it's even a factor. Sounds like SOLOS has good medical care though.

This type of therapy is real. Actually, not rare.
I have a remote family member who underwent this type of therapy for leukemia. He did it at M.D.Anderson in Houston. (His mom and dad rented an apartment in Houston for sometime between 6 months and one year so that traveling between home on the East Coast and Houston would not complicate the treatment regimen.)
In summary, the therapy appears to have worked. This family member has been cancer free for ~ 4 months. He’s back in the East Coast full time and his follow up work is being done via oncologists in a city near to his home.
I have an ex-boss going through a similar cancer treatment regimen; his is being done at Duke.
xxxxxx
Just a thought here. If you feel uncomfortable about your treatment program, you may ask gently if your oncology / neurology team would have any objection to you discussing your condition with Fuke, or M.D.Anderson, or Sloan Kettering (in NYC).
Prayers for you, Mr. SOLOS.
