impressed that he hit .331 in triple-A. That was always the part of his game that was lacking; hope that's a sign of good things to come in this Angels stint.

Very happy for this young man. I always thought he was a hell of a player whose hitting style fell victim to Monte’s plate approach

Baseball is a funny, funny game. Three of our current pros in the big leagues--Weston Wilson, Bryce Teodosio, and Eli White are all guys that I never expected to make it to the Majors but they've carved out respectable roles within their organization. Meanwhile guys like Seth Beer and Chris Okey and some of the "greats" from the last 10+ years have never been able to stick around the major league level.
