Good news! Bryson has made it into the Pinnacle Bank Championship from the alternate list! If I'm not mistaken, there was a reshuffle after the previous event and Bryson moved up the priority list due to his performance the past two weeks. This is now the third straight tournament he has entered as a direct or indirect result of his Monday Qualifying win a few weeks ago.

This may have been brought up in a past post, but does anyone know what happened to Ben Martin this season?
Noticed he has been absent the past couple months. I am assuming he is injured and will be able to play some PGA tournaments on a medical waiver when he returns.

I still haven't seen anything regarding Ben. I don't think he has played since the RBC Canadian Open, so I'm with you, it seems like he must be injured.
Fingers crossed that maybe he can play in some of the FedEx Cup Fall events.

Thanks skeeta56.
As schema mentioned, glad to see Bryson make the tournament. Praying our Tigers will have great tournaments as they need the points.
Obviously no play at the Wyndham today. But that area has been fairly dry this summer and should drain quickly. Should be a good doubleup day tomorrow.

KORN FERRY TOUR Jonathan has completed his Opening Round @ -1 and is currently T-20th Place. Doc, Matt and Bryson have this afternoon to prove their merit. Sam and Kyle have all but ended their Tournament Efforts . . . Sadly!
While the Leaders scored well . . . The drop-off is severe . . . 5th Place is only sitting @ -3.

Debby’s Crying Eyes have shed some tears!!! Laurinburg, NC - 10.5” . . . so far in 2 Days Cary, NC - 6.5” . . .
While the Summer has been dry here . . . We had several good rains preceding Debby and our ground was soaked!!! These additional tears WILL NOT soak in rapidly . . . rather they are running off causing several minor flooding issues.
Only one tree has fallen thus far . . . It’s debris has been cleared already.
I still have power . . . my youngest son (also here in Laurinburg) does not. My oldest son (Cary, NC) also has power and has not been affected by the accompanying tornados in the Wilson, NC Area.
Travel safely if you must TIGERS . . . and be Grateful!!!

Jonathan seems to be the only one of our KFT Tigers that likes this course so far.

The husband of my daughter's friend now caddies for Bama grad Bud Cauley after separating from Harrison Endycott. He won the Q-school tourney to get his 2024 tour card, but hasn't been able to translate it to more success.

Yeah, it's looking like most of our Tiger golfers will be watching their competition from a TV, sadly.
Lucas and Jacob still have a chance as they complete their first round. Carson shot even which appears he'll need a strong 2nd round to ma k e the cut.
All of our Tigers are struggling with 180+ approach shots. Bryson actually had some nice opportunities but couldn't convert. As for Jacob, he just can't put it together. He either struggles off the tee or his flatstick is ice cold. He's already 3 putted from 16 feet. Although early, he sits in the 120 range for putts per gir. Who knows which Jacob shows up today. 🤞 he and Lucas find some magic finishing their first round.
As for the Olympic women's golf, Zhang and Korda have had their chances but not sure it's enough. Too bad for that rnd 2 quad bogey for Nellie... otherwise she'd be in the lead.
Sadly, looks like kin from China came to play. Chinese are clutch as this gold could be the deciding medal that gives them the most and win the gold medal race from USA.
