This BC catcher doesn't seem to be able to throw well enough

She's already air mailed throws to 2nd and 3rd (after a strikeout) and walks halfway back to the circle to underhand throw the ball back to the pitcher after each pitch.

I guess that's why she walks the ball back to pitcher. If she were to throw it back like all other catchers she would sail it into the outfield. It is very annoying to watch and slows the game. I don't think it should be allowed.

yep, thought about that last night. Catcher must have an injured arm. SUrely they would have a catcher that can throw back to the pitcher.

That is what I am thinking. Like Cam, could catch, run and bat but couldn't throw with shoulder.

She has the yips. I don’t really understand that but the BC coaches husband (or I think it was her husband) said the catcher doesn’t tend to have problem making throws she doesn’t have to think about (like throwing someone out stealing 2nd). As we saw, it didn’t always work out that way.
