The real situation with Mukaba IMO

After a great Freshman year, he had child and his focus shifted more to money so he could provide for his budding family (which as a father of 2 myself, I can understand). The child along with a series of injuries and the normal challenges of just being a student athlete created too many distractions for him and he just wasn't very good as a Sophomore. Inspite of all that his NIL money was still pretty high. Last year Barnes proved to be a stud and made him expendable. I believe he quickly discovered that his NIL money was going to take a hit this year (and was rightfully going to get diverted to Barnes), which was no good to him now that he has a family to feed. So, he leveraged his Freshman accolades to persuade (or swindle) his home state school of Texas to take him without such a significant hit to his finances.

I don't blame him for how it all went down because it was for the good of his family, but the real reason he left was because Barnes is just better and the finances just made more sense somewhere else. Not the BS he's spewing now.

was he got passed on the depth chart by a better player (a freshman), and anyone who actually followed Clemson football last year knows it.

If it makes him feel better to blame the coaches on a team that had one of the best defensive backfields in the nation last year, rather than admit the truth or just remain silent, so be it. The actual facts remain unchanged.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

He be a moron. His statements overlook the fact that The Tiger secondary was

borderline outstanding last year. But, yeah, blame the coaches for not being able to coach the secondary.

That's what I understood him saying, that it was the coaching that couldn't push him to get better!!!!

Tampering could be involved.

It is pretty easy to convince a kid far from home that he is getting a raw deal. No matter the reality of the situation.
