And it’s not because it makes good business sense.
Rather, it’s because we are being told that we must like women’s sports, because women are just as good as men, even at sports. If we don’t support women’s sports, then there is something wrong with us. And if we as men don’t support women’s sports, we are chauvinist pigs.
By starting and continuing to fund the WNBA, the NBA feels like they are doing so much good for women who feel slighted in a male dominated world, as well as for little girls who now have role model athletes to look up to.
Of course, all of this only makes sense to flaming liberals who believe that society can be told how to think and believe, and who secretly don’t like men - especially those who are really successful. It also only makes sense to people who don’t understand basic business or economics.
