JByrd is #4 on the alternate list, so he has a chance to get in.

He must like his chances. He was originally on the roster for Monday qualifying, but withdrew the day before.

Man that’s a tough gig 16 for one spot. Lot of pressure. So J Byrd is out?

You won’t make many tourneys being 5th qualifier. I believe I would have to go back to Korn Ferry and make that top 25 for guaranteed membership. Dang not playing can’t help anything.

At this point, he hasn't played in any of the first five KFT events, so I think he is probably better off playing when he can on the big tour. He's actually done a lot with his limited starts this year. While he missed the cut in four of his seven starts, the three in which he did make the cut ended with a T20, T37, and T9. That has him above the Top 125 line at 113 right now. Of course, each tournament he misses out on will cause him to drop down the list.
He'll have quite a few more chances this season. Just next month, he should be in the Puerto Rico Open and Corales Puntacana Championship. I'd guess he also has a slight chance of making the field at the Valspar Championship as well since it is sandwiched between THE PLAYERS and the WGC Match Play and may have a lot of the top golfers sitting it out to rest.

I’m guessing since the KF Tour is off . . .

for a few weeks is why Turk tried to Monday Qualify . . . we may see Turk, DJ, Sam, Bryson or even Carson do the same if the opportunity arises while the KFT awaits its next tournament.

Agree. So far, it looks like Turk and Carson plan on trying to Monday qualify for the Puerto Rico Open next Monday. Jonathan, Ben, and D.J. should all make it in out of category 34. Fingers crossed that Bryson either tries to Monday qualify also or gets a sponsor's exemption. If I'm remembering correctly, I think he has received a sponsor's exemption to that same tournament at least twice in the past. As for Sam, he may be too busy getting ready to host the Arnold Palmer Invitational to attempt to Monday qualify, but you never know. They have until Friday to commit to the Monday qualifier.
