1. The last one standing after all of this will undoubtedly be the best team in the country.

2. There is not a single team below the 12 chosen who earned a shot at a national championship.

The committee looked at the entire body of work. Thus eliminating three loss teams waiting in the wings to beg their way in. Super job keeping those SEC teams out who didn’t belong.

Some aspects are good for CFB. One issue it was suppose to solve was the argument over the 5th place team who was left out of the four team playoff. As predicted, it simply moved the argument from the fifth place team to the 13th place team.

It will also be interesting to see if any of the lower seeded teams can get a win. I believe there is a big divide in CFB so the lower seeded teams will struggle. Time will tell.
