This team is far from where they will be and needs some losses to learn that and find arms in these midweek games.

It feels like a pretty good team if they reach potential, but probably ranked 12-15 or so when it shakes out. I’ll happily be wrong as it only matters when you’re included in the last 8.

Too many double plays and not much competition so far. Really love the approach by the coaches and trusting what they see as it leads to tangible improvement… Purify looks good and we’re going to need a confident Bisetta as the season progresses. Cam seemed to wake up a touch on every single pitch being inside today. Good sign.

You realize that double plays are usually from sharply hit balls right at the 3rd baseman or middle infielders. a couple of feet left or right and they are a solid base hit. Our batters are not hitting them intentionally. Keep hitting the ball hard and don't worry about the double plays.
