On the other hand, I think people are in the market to make money. Right now they are even since Trump has been in office these months. It's better than being way down though. Hopefully people will start actually doing well instead of terrible to nothing. It will be an interesting few months.

It’s fun to pretend. Myself and everyone else not hellbent on defending Trump with our lives said that the aimless tariff policies were crushing the stock market, because they were. Did your portfolio enjoy liberation day? It’s rebounded since they dropped the nonsense, but that didn’t stop you from Baghdad Bobbing during the worst two months in the S&P in decades.
Trump can lie, yall can lie in turn, but the stock market doesn’t lie.

I know this is hard for y’all to believe but my investing strategy has nothing to do with politics. I do have my politics but I ignore all of it with investing. My strategy is very complicated so here goes. I invest regularly regardless of who the dang president is, I stay invested in the corrections and turn off the friggin news as it relates to investing. Been doing that for 4 decades. I see no need to change. It’s just not that hard folks.

Every one of us invests regularly. Not every one of us enjoys when policies, particularly boneheaded ones, cause those investments to lose value. Public reaction to the market plunge clearly led to their policy reversal. Ever-rising stock markets don’t happen of their own volition, good economic stewardship matters.

I did not lose anything unless you sold. I assume you didn’t. Many did in a knee jerk reaction to Trump just like many sold during the bear market of 2022. That’s all I’m saying. I’m not even being political because I separate the political crap from investing.

Trump was screwing up and then realized what a disaster it was and he caved. How were people supposed to know that he would cave? He hadded unneeded uncertainty. Of course you don't lose money if you don't sell. Many children know that. The point is as though that as of now Trump has been a stinker. Let's see where are though down the road.

What's lost on you is that those jobs aren't coming back as you think they are in manufacturing and most of those products need to be made abroad for simple cost reasons. You're not smart enough understand the basics, so don't even attempt it.
