Why would I care what John MacArthur thinks about a subject he is no expert in? I’m a man of faith, I respect the position that faith holds in our existence. But when determining how best to address the myriad of issues which don’t fit neatly into the easy mold, I’ll defer to individuals who have spent their lives actually studying it.
And those are the doctors and researchers who have studied (and continue to study) those for whom gender identity does not match biology. It literally saved my child’s life. I’ll gladly reject the outlook of anyone attempting to apply simplified visions of a binary driven by their interpretation of an ancient (though in my eyes still sacred) text, over actually research and study.

to be clear, I don't believe in the concept of "sin" but of all the times I've done something wrong, I can't remember a single instance where my purpose was to defy god.
For example, if I lied my parents, it was to keep from getting in trouble, wasn't thinking of god at all in those instances. Same when i do good things for my parents, i'm thinking of them, not god.
