Total orange bias. No reasonable person could put us above OSU or LSU right now.

Mean nothing. Comparative schedules that, well...can't be compared? The 'eye test', which is based on the 'preseason polls that mean nothing' and media bias?
The fact is, there is zero reason why the Tigers shouldn't be ranked 1, 2, 3, or 4 because for each reason cited by the CFP for inclusion of the four teams ahead of Clemson, they ring true for Clemson. And for each reason cited why Clemson isn't included, applies to them as well.
The CFP is just as 'influenced' by media and bias as any other 'expert source'. It is what it is, but don't suggest 'total orange bias' as the basis for Clemson supporters to not be puzzled by the Tigers' omission. Because at day's end, there exists very little cross-over evidence to support anyone being placed above Clemson. And, if history is to somehow be injected as justification, it for bloody certain won't support the CFP's ranking.

At the least #4 with Bama below us.

and should be ranked #1. We have the nation’s longest winning streak and have done nothing to justify losing our top ranking.
Do you think Alabama would be ranked below #1 if they were the defending national champions and currently undefeated? Of course not, and no one would have a problem with that.

This team never did anything to earn a number one ranking. It was given to them based on how last year's team played.
In the same vein this team is on a 9 game winning streak, not a 24 game winning streak.
Within a season you rank teams, not programs.

#1 but I also think last year matters. Nobody in the top 5 has played a really big game this year. You might be able to make an argument for LSU, but I could care less about what somebody did to Wisconsin. I kept thinking they were a fraud because of what they were last year and … Our coaching staff is the same, and many of our players have played and performed well on the biggest stage. That's NOT supposed to mean anything? Come January, let's see how that works out for you.

This is all about ratings. Clemson fans are the only ones that care about our games the rest of our season. The other 4 will have big time games if they keep winning. Funny how the basketball games played the other night just so happen to be the top 4 teams playing I bet if unc was a part of it they would have been ranked top 4 over Duke.

#3 at the least. Look at how many “close games” Penn St has been in.

Depends on if you think last year matters or not...

If last year matters, then we are obvious #1
If last year does not matter, then we reasonably could be 3, 4, or 5 BUT Alabama and us need to be adjacent in the rankings (3-4 or 4-5) for logic consistency. If you emphasize SOS/SOR, then Clemson and Alabama are almost identical. There is a slight argument for Alabama to be ahead of us, but absolutely no way you can justify putting Penn State in between us. If you emphasize the eye test, then Penn State is 5 and Clemson/Alabama are 3/4 in some order.

I’d say #3 and ahead of Bama. They have certainly done nothing to be ahead of us.

Until Bama, LSU, or OSU ever beats us, they should be behind us out of respect. PSU should not even be considered to be in the Top 4.
So that makes us #1, where we belong.
Last meetings: CLEMSON 44 Bama 16 CLEMSON 31 OSU 0 CLEMSON 25 LSU 24
'nuff said.
