caught us from a talent standpoint.
Personally I think that’s funny.
Coots had 23 guys jump ship with 18 brand new guys who have zero experience on this team.
Meanwhile teams like us have had minimal guys want to leave and we’ve signed a few portal guys. We are retaining experienced talent better than a huge number of unproven transfers. We have a ton more talent than USuC.
The lose-a-bunch and sign-a-bunch model has not been successful at building elite programs. Coots lost 23 guys!! This lack of continuity every single year is not building sustainable winners.

your transfer portal actually made the talent equal? You had 7 points against us last year going into the 4th, and our dormant offense and a porous defense gave the game up. Let’s not forget we drove the ball in for a probable score without an honestly boneheaded play by Cade.
Your transfer portal guys did that? No, no they didn’t. And you lost 23 players just in transfers off that team. Gutted the D.
You have not caught up to us in talent. No more gifts.

There’s the heat and humidity, few sports, excessive bugs in the woods, and high cooling bills. But the silver lining is, I didn’t see so much of your incessant whining/trolling. It must be pretty depressing on the USuC boards if you’re over here so much.

Once you establish the pattern, it is hard to break. Your rented players have already prove they are willing to leave for greener pastures, they make organically recruited and developed more likely to leave, and have already used some of their own eligibility.
They can contribute immediate experience, depth, and production, but they are creating a bubble of sorts. How can you improve every single year via transfers?

18 of 27 signees were out of the portal. And you can only bring in 25, so effectively 18 of 25 are portal guys. I certainly didn’t say “all”, but when you’re new guys are over 70% from the portal, that’s not recipe for success. Look around the nation, nobody is succeeding with that model.
Their rankings are overly inflated due to so many transfers, and no, they aren’t doing any better in recruiting than they did with Muschamp.
They have done nothing to catch us.

Dude you are delusional ! Have you looked at our recent recruiting ? Our recruiting has tanked the last several years . Even our ACC foes that we were so far out in front of have caught us . This is not debatable , it’s just facts ! While we kept a roster full of walk ons and feel good stories on our roster , the ACC teams and the ##### beefed up their rosters via the portal . If you can’t agree or understand this then you don’t need to be posting so much because you have lost any credibility you had .
