supposed to protect computers from crashing due to infiltration by viruses, or ransomware, causes EVERYBODY'S computer that has it, to crash. Badly.
Got it. What a world we are living in.

to fly somewhere. Sounds like airports had all planes parked due to this snafu. At least one story of a man whose heart transplant had to be cancelled. I can see lawsuits out the WAZOO coming out of this, and in a case like that, justifiably so.

call today. 3 of our 4 factories are back on-line.
I was told in that meeting that our contract with CrowdStrike says they are not libel if things go South like they did today.

I am a proud Clemson alum with an undergrad degree in Mathematics with a computer science option. Every install needs to have a pre install backup with a roll back path to uninstall the update. Also companies need to have a backup plan to work in case a computer system is down. This has NOTHING ago do with the government. Some heads need to roll. I am not talking about low level scape goats either. This is not rocket science.
