who the folks you'll go to Hardee's/BoJangle's with to get coffer and fishing stories with? I currently do not, with out driving to Clemson every day. This makes me sad. Where do I find those people?
My only goals left in life really are to actaully make money on a YouTube video and know who I'll drink coffee with and lie to if I get old.

Best locations for this are Austell, Powder Springs, and Marietta. Basically if you show up often enough they will let you in.

And no shoes required plus better coffee at home.
Then there’s the local bars that one can find happy hour a couple of times a week. It easier to tolerate people with a beer in one hand and a pool cue in the other _ hopefully with good music in the background.

Do you not feel that void filled with group chats and message board conversation? My group chat from Clemson is active and makes me feel like I don't need other friends. Y'all who know each other here in real life may feel similarly. I wont have coffee at Hardee's with them, but we still talk each morning, and that's enough for me.

I have plenty of that, with some degree of overlap in the group.

For example, RH has met nearly all of my other friends that have similar interest as he does. None of these people live close enough to meet up with daily. My friends that do live close are all a good bit younger than I am so I'd have to make it to REALLY old. Granted, I've still got 20+ years to worry about this and probably won't have this job still and can meet more people. I just don't love the notion that I don't know right now who that group would be. Downfall of mobility I guess.

as long as you went. Like a bunch of weirdos all became friends because they spent a couple hours every morning avoiding their wives and eating biscuits and drinking coffee. They weren't necessarily friends beforehand but knew each other, but they became friends. This is small town Bojangles though. Dad even knew the ladies that worked in Bojangles and he would take them produce from the garden sometimes, then talk shidd about them to us.

Tigertown Lager was good, and I had a good IPA, but the music selection Friday night was lacking. Young guy, tried to be a Jack Johnson, Noah Kahan kind of thing. He had talent and could sing, but it wasn't my thing.

Doing it around my garage bar with the same people I do now because I'm apparently a big loser for building it and will be a bigger loser when I'm retired and doing nothing but that all day.
And we old men will probably stare out the garage and be super judgy of the teenage boys driving by to pick up the girls who live on my street because they'll be teenagers by then.

until they banned him from that location for throwing a burger that they put mayonnaise on (he despised mayonnaise) 3 different times. Finally flinging it at the little girl behind the counter.
He didn't last much longer after that.
I believe his banning from Hardees is what killed him.
That and his inoperable lung cancer from smoking 2 packs a day
