That is a poor plan because we have seen the development that Belanger brings . We had pitchers that couldn’t throw strikes or that even knew what a balk was .

Outfielder. He played at WKU and had a pretty good season, hit close to .350 with 11 bombs. His daddy played basketball here in the 90s

Hi dad is 6-10 Tom Wideman. Recruited and played for Rick Barnes 2nd year till senior year with Larry Shyatt as HC.

Greg Buckner played around the same time on the basketball team, and his son Ace is a redshirt freshman. He should be a good player on the basketball team this coming season.

With NIL he might could make enough to bring him to Clemson for one season. All depends. I’m a homer but I would pick Clemson. Just so I wouldn’t have to travel around and play in single A stadiums for a year. Just me.

If MLB is your goal, going after 3rd year is ideal. If you wait another year, you lose any negotiations and the owners know this. If that slot is $444K, bonus $ will push it close to $1M. You take that all day long! And your going to be playing in A ballparks regardless.
Plus with the House Settlement the NIL game has changed. You can't just throw money at them, it has to go through the clearinghouse. That's why so many deals were completed before June 7th.
