I don’t think the coaches on this team thought for a moment this team would be so poor on offense. All the talk before the season was how deep they were & how hard it was to fill out the lineup card because so many deserved to play. Where is all that hitting depth? I don’t believe he said that just to say it, but he believed it. So either he over estimated their hitting or the players have just simply underperformed. I believe it’s the latter.

They probably have underperformed a hair and there definitely in a slump but cmon man it’s baseball can we not be happy we have a dang good team that’s got a chance to get hot late and we definitely have much better pitching then we originally thought before the season started we still have a lot of baseball to play.

There is no depth because EB has decided, for some reason, not to play any freshman! He must have given these transfers an IRON CLAD NIL deal. This was his 1st full class and they have some dudeds. It'll be intersting to see how many portal out. EB loves the older guys and transfers. Funny thin fis he was talking about all the power he lost from last year and he goes and gets guys with NO poer (Listi, Paino) and big whiff rates (Paino, Gaffney). With his track record the recruiting classes will slow down because he does't give the incoming Fr a fair chance to play so then you become a portal team year in/out!

Facts….. there’s no way some freshmen shouldn’t have gotten more opportunities considering the offense has been ### all season

I think we need to look at some of the assistants to take some of the blame too. No one has improved over the course of the year. Some have regressed. I’ll give Cam a break since he had surgery that sidelined him much of the offseason. Also some of our guys look like they never been in the weight room too.
