True, he only makes 740k per year for so, but he did get a 9.2 million dollar signing bonus. She is loaded. Sounds like a good time.

For him it’s a shame he’s under contract until 2031…. Or sure his arm will hold up throwing 102 until then for him to really cash in.

I bet they give him a new contract well before that to keep him happy and around longer, because he will be gone to the Yankees, Dodgers, Boston, SF. or the Rangers in the end.

In arbitration… but he won’t get that market value… they couldn’t afford to keep him regardless. I’m sure he’ll do fine but baseball is a funny sport. People think it’s the end all for big bucks but it’s such a small percent that get there.

True. On that note, he has the body that looks like it will hold up. Big, but not lanky. He is sturdy like Clemens and not lanky like deGrom or Hershiser.
