CU and Northwestern play early. Could be mistaken but in baseball regionals it seems like the opposite is true.

It is the opposite for baseball. Softball games are shorter so they play both elimination games tomorrow, so the team that wins at 4 will immediately play again against the loser from the 1-0 game. That way they don’t have to potentially play a game 7 on Monday like in baseball, they just play it as a doubleheader Sunday if necessary.

That's what I was thinking. In the baseball regional's the first elimination game (in this case it would be UK-Upstate) is played first the next morning.
