Need to fix concessions

I’ve been in TDM for 10 years. Had the option to move down several times but I really enjoy watching the plays develop from overhead.
Saturday I went down to grab 2 waters with 8 minutes left in the second qtr. I got back to my seat with halftime about half way over. The time and lines upstairs (not to mention the lack of choices) are ridiculous. The concessions are run by Aramark utilizing volunteer groups to staff the positions. This is a common model at many stadiums but it is run horribly at ours. The university and IPTAY need to put pressure ARAMARK to fix this. I don’t know if it is cronyism or if Clemson is low balling Aramark at the fans expense. Whatever it is the concessions are a bad look for as much money as the university makes on game day and all the talk of wanting to improve the game day experience.
Just practicing for the letter I’m going to be writing. Thanks for letting me vent.

I actually think they do a really good job. I went out at half time, waited in line and ate my food. Still got back by kickoff.

This has always been a problem and there is no fix if hundreds of people across the stadium want to go at the same time.

Not true. There’s are a ton of little things they could improve to equal a much better experience for the fans.
1) Buy a refillable cup for $10 then free refills at vending machines. Every modern stadium with over 60k capacity and space issues has gone to that.
1A) Specialize the items at each stand and put the menus on TVs above the windows. It’s crazy the menus are in the stand inside where you have to be at the window before you can see what they have.
3) Supervise the volunteer groups more closely. Make sure they have people that want to be there.
I go to a lot of stadiums and ours has some of the worst concessions. There’s no reason for it other than they don’t want to fix it or they don’t know it’s an issue.

My daughter is a freshman this year and is sitting in the upper deck. She’s been complaining all year about the difference between the lower level concessions and the upper concessions as this year is her first experience sitting in the upper deck
