These NCST batters are sitting back waiting on that changeup & hammering it. Very good approach. Very good preparation going into the game. I very much dislike NCST but they have a very good coach.

OK. So Knaak has to pitch backwards. I mean teams do scout and watch film. Kid was 6-0 coming in to this game. I'm sure he knows that someone will hit that pitch. His fastball has been just a little off. When he misses with it the change-up is worthless.

Yep. Hitting has not been their problem under him. Duke, uva, and Louisville all scored on this pitcher. Understanding it's baseball and you'll have your off nights... just saying, I don't think this pitcher is lights out.

To your point, if we could hit like state, I'd say we are a true top 5 team. I know my opinion isn't popular, but we've found ways to win and our record should be rewarded. But our hitting is weak.

I agree their approach has been a great plan. When a team does this, Clemson's pitching coach has to counter in the way he's calling the pitches. In my opinion, knaack has a tendency to rely on changeup too much.

We need to relook some position coaches. The warts we started with are still not addressed.
