3 years where we’ve won 40+ games every year, have hosted all 3 years, and made our only super regional since 2010. This is also after the two worst years the program has had since the 60s

College baseball is not the same game that it was in 2010 when we last made the Series. Would anyone have thought that 7 of 16 seeds were bounced in their regionals? Would anyone have thought that UTSA, Murray State and West Virginia would been 3 of the teams that beat the seeds? Baseball is not like basketball, football and soccer where it takes exceptional talent to make a difference and it is harder and harder each year to win.

Mississippi State built a Taj Mahal of a stadium. Pretty darn impressive joint.
With the money they have committed to the program anyone taking a job at Mississippi State knows they will have one of the shortest leashes in the country.
I don’t think Clemson will need to have as short of a leash as Mississippi State, at least for the foreseeable future.
