Mens golf finishes 3rd at gamecocks tournament

The Bryan Brothers tournament held in cootlumbia on the socon course finished -28 and 3rd place behind winner lsu -35 and Charlotte -32. South Carolina finished 4th at -20. Go Tigers!!!

Shoutout to Colin Salema for a sweet 66 -5 with a clean card. And to our other freshman that played as an individual. He shot a +4 opening round... but he carded an 11 on a par 4. Minus one hole, he shot 3 under. Strong.

Congratulations to our Tigers. We had 3 finished in the top 10. We're looking good. Our first round got us Colin Salema had 2 triple bogeys and we were forced to eat a +4.

It sure took the website that was doing the live scoring a while to post the Tigers score and the rest of the fields scores but glad their were no issues with Tigers scores and they beat the Gamecocks by 8 strokes to finish 1 place ahead of them in the standings at 3rd and 4th place respectively

I’m using an app called The Scoreboard. Seems to be doing great so far in trying to keep up with the scoring.

Top 3 in 2 tournaments & was middle of pack in a 3rd. 29-9-2 W-L-T record with 2 more fall events. 1st 2 events last year, our guys were fighting for last place & definitely set a sour tone. So hopefully this start will spark a much better campaign for Coach Bryd & the guys.

The tidbit about finishing ahead of SC is important too for the Palmetto Series points race.

Completely different vibe. Oscar is on fire and a difference maker. Still seeing immelman posting on social media but not listed on the website as a member. He's eligible to play. So is Jackson. Glad to see Duran get a chance.

Very solid tournament! Hoping for more of that this year. Been a while since we have been consistently competitive in golf tournaments.

Sorry purple, just saw your post. They played on the rebrand course Solina golf club in Cayce sc. If you're familiar it was the old Indian rivers semi private course. I played it a good bit.
