Sad memories indeed! Won’t take time to list all the guys who died from my unit in Vietnam - mainly because I have forgotten several names from other platoons.

Today always reminds me of those who gave some and some who gave all. My grandfather was at Pearl Harbor and he was one of the lucky ones that got a Purple Heart. I visited the memorial in Hawaii and there wasn’t a dry eye on our tour boat. It’s a sobering reminder that our freedom isn’t free. Thank you all.

Clover65 and others who served or are currently serving in our Country’s Military are Honored and truly appreciated by many Americans today. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏
There are many organizations we can donate to that will not only Honor our Military but will support them.
HS’s and College’s and other learning institutions should make sure our kids are educated about all of the wars and conflicts our country have been involved in. They need to make sure students are aware of the true meaning of Memorial Day 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
One of my favorite is Wounded Warriors. Even if you can only afford $5 or $10 that would add up to help those who are disabled from physical or mental health issues. 🙏🙏🙏
Personally, I offer my prayers and gratitude for all those who served or are currently serving our 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Military 🙏🙏🙏. I did not serve in our Military but I have tremendous respect for my Dad and BF who served.
Memorial Day is a Special Day for all Americans to Honor our Military. To many people consider MD as a day off for people to have fun. I use to be one of those who felt MD was a fun day. After doing a lot of research and watching war documentaries I now see Memorial Day in a new light. I see it as a time to pay our respects to those who gave their lives, those who served and are currently serving for Freedom and Democracy. We should use this time to Unite as Americans regardless of race 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸. I offer my humble condolences and gratitude. Thank you for my freedoms🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
