I've played with competent drummers that couldn't get that much out of a kit

four times the size. A good drummer can stay in the pocket. A GREAT drummer has that 'it' factor that it seems you have to be born with. Like Gene Krupa, Ringo Starr also had that 'it' factor.

The audio is not that great in the video, but I really like this guy. He's the Art Director for Charlotte Jazz Arts - Ocie Davis. He and his wife Lonnie have done a great job with Charlotte Jazz.
