I'll go with DeChambeau to win this week and would not hurt my feelings to see Rose hold on for the win. Lots of scenarios. Another McIlroy/DeChambeau shootout? Aberg emerges? Scheffler wears down the field? Hovland returns? Who do our golf aficionados including Skeeta56® and Clemgalalways® like over the weekend?

I'm pulling for Scottie.

All five of my fantasy team, picked on Masters.org, made the cut. (That is highly unsual for me. I'm currently in the top 15% of the 600+K who entered.) So, any of the fantasy team winning wouldn't bother me - Scottie, Aberg, Rory, Morikawa, David Thompson.

As for other "feel good stories" any of these guys winning would be a great story.

Rory completing the grand slam.
Justin winning at age 44.
Day coming back from a slump due to injury.

I like Hovland, so it would be fine with me for him to win.

As for Bryson, I used to really like him. But, I don't like the fact he went the LIV route. I don't blame guys for going that route - when you are guaranteed generational wealth I can see how it would be difficult to pass up. (And, I'm not talking about greed. Example: Kevin Na was allegedly paid 30 million bucks to join LIV. How can he look at his wife and kids and say, "No, I'm not gonna take that job offer"?) But, there should be consequences for their actions.

I was really pulling for Langer and Couples to make the cut.

51 years ago I was a couple of months from getting my "Masters" in mathematics. I also was blessed to be walking the grounds on Saturday and Sunday and watched Gary Player win the green jacket.
