Making sense of the PlayoffsClemson, Alabama, Miami

Alabama and Miami are both teams the CFB Playoff committee want to get into the playoffs if possible. Alabama because of recent pedigree and Miami because of historical pedigree.

This is when it shows the only certain route to the playoffs is to win your conference championship.

They may have a certain agenda, but if Clemson wins we’re in. We know we can hang with most of the teams because the South Carolina game was an even battle.

I’m calling it now. IF Clemson wins the ACC Championship SMU will not make it and Miami will somehow make it. It will definitely shake things up to say the least.

I never thought I would say this, but the BCS may have been a better system after all. Because when you get to the later teams everything is subjective to whose is calling the shots.

TIGER WIN and WE ARE IN.

Miami is out when big 12 winners get in. As it stands.

There is ZERO chance SMU is left out with a Clemson win

And it was pretty much stated when the committee chair said it would not really penalize teams who lose their conference championship game. Only way SMU has a chance to get left out is if Clemson wins by more than 17.

So what if Texas somehow beats Georgia by 17pts or more and they become 9-3. Alabama already beat GA head to head?
