Of course Pawley's Pavilion and The Pad at OD were a little more iconic shag venues! Visited both of them a lot more frequently in the 60's than the MB pavilion.
PS: My cousin owned the Colonial Inn, right down the street, but my mother discouraged me from staying there on my visits.

Ahh, the memories ... three or four disco/new wave/fast dance songs, then 1-2 shag numbers. then 1-2 slow dances. Rinse and repeat all night long at The Book Store, Corporation, and Boll Winkles.
