Roberto Clemente was one of the greats and his death while helping others has always saddened me.

Though Hank Aaron was always my favorite player, Roberto was one of my favorites to watch play. He was an amazing player.

Was a huge Pirates fan in the ‘60s and Clemente was my favorite player- his last hit was his 3,000th to join a list of greats.

he just did everything well in baseball. Some of his throws from the outfield are amazing. Such a caring and appreciative start who died while helping others.
