Is there a top two or a top three?

After recent discussions with non tigers, do you recognize tajh as a member of the Watson, Trevor group? Or is he a tier behind?
My belief is tajh is a slightly distant 3, although I know all of his records and accomplishments. He’s in his own tier to me really. Above Fuller, Whitehurst, Homer and Woody, but also clearly below the top 2.
What ya say?

Hard to compare with the others because of different offensive scheme. But I would take Fuller over tajh.

I did consider schemes if that helps. (For example you can’t compare a Unitas to a modern era QB)

My dad, rest his soul, had issues with Tajh . . .

because of his record vs the coots . . . I had to talk him off the ledge a few times . . . Just kept reminding him of all the good he did for us . . .
Different eras, different game, different needs at QB . . . hard to cross dimensions and compared or rate talents

I liked Tajh but I don't think he was as accurate on his passes as the others. He had great receivers and he threw it in their vicinity knowing they would probably grab it. Just my opinion.

That’s my sentiment a lot of times, but I can’t help but think about inserting Tajh into that 2017 Bama sugar bowl game and like our chances. Different era but could’ve still led us to a playoff in our current era.

Yeah but that’s really more about KB not even being in the Top 10/20 all time.

20? That’s a stretch. My point is Tajh has a lesser appreciation because of his era, but he would still be a playoff QB in 2021

ahead of Tajh just for the mere fact Charlie never lost to the Chickens and the Chickens were in Tajh's head for a few years straight. Plus, Charlie never had the talent around him during his time like Tajh. Love'em both, just my opinion.

What do I say; I say why don't you ask Tajh Boyd to his face what he thinks!

I would love to. He seems like a really chill dude. Wouldn’t like to ask you to your face, you’re ignorant from what I’ve seen

I'm ignorant; I'm not the one going around comparing quarterbacks even when our own Head Coach said every team he has coached was a stepping stone to those two National Championships. But you can ask me to my face if you want. I mean, if you don't like my answer, I guess you "SUCKER" punch me. Get it." But be careful. This 70 year old guy has a black belt, and a brown belt. And I have talked to Tajh Boyd,in person. Really nice guy. And what exactly is a "chill dude"?
