both the Goodwin and Riley experiments have run their course and changes are in order?
While we're at it, it's time for Grisham and Spiller to be shown the door as well.
And for the love of God, can we please recruit a punter who can consistently kick the ball more than 35 yards?

Not regarding Goodwin. So you want Cade's QB coach fired heading into his senior year? In spite of the terrible decision late Sat, hard to argue he didn't make outstanding progress this year. You want the guy who recruited Wesco and Moore fired, the one who built those relationships and convinced them to come here in spite of the current NIL climate? You want the guy who has our top rated RB recruit since Ship signed fired, the guy who has the relationship with him?
Basically, you want to gut the 2025 roster?

Cade made a huge jump from last year to this year, the jump next year will not look as big, but it will be there

He came miles from where he was last year. Learned to use his legs, cut the poor decisions drastically, made big plays.
I get the frustration, but let's not throw the baby out quite yet.
We need adjustments for sure. Have to play the NIL game and finally use the portal. I think the 7 decommitments have been an eye opener for Dabo honestly, he knows that can't continue. He can be stubborn, all great coaches are to some extent. But those saying he doesn't want to win are full of it. Guy is, and always will be, a fierce competitor. Now, to combine the real positives he preaches; education, family, loyalty, with the $$$ needed to climb back up the mountain. I think we see that this year as the terrain changes with the new settlement.

Didn't we have that 6'5" punter on the roster who was HS All American that Dabo wouldn't play because the little dude came back for a 5th and then a 6th year? Is he still around or did he transfer out?

why on earth would we fire Garrett? Our offense has improved drastically since Streeter and we just seen a huge developmental uptick in our QB in a decade.

Our coaching staff has been great at making us a top 35 team the last couple years. I think we’d like to see a return to competitiveness at a higher level instead of regressing to Bowden. We seem to be intent on same thing over and over and hoping for different results. My vote is try and raise the standard. 9 wins isn’t a mountaintop

However, in defense of Goodwin AND Riley.................the talent they're working with is NOTHING compared to the talent we had during our ELITE RUN..............Until Dabo utilizes every possible resource to acquire ELITE TALENT the OC and DC will have ceilings at Clemson.
there's a common denominator of the last 4 seasons that haven't been TOUCHED by Dabo and that's the problem right now.

years beyond last year. No problem with Riley except maybe some situational timing. Defense however, ranks 57th, has gotten worse under Wes. He does need to go.

and the offense is improving. It doesn't really 'feel' that way, but consistency with Cade and the rest of the offense and they might really look good next year.
Defensively, it is kind of unfair because the last three years the defense has been our strength but it does seem to be regressing. Now, I happen to believe that Venables was the best DC in the country and so in all likelihood ANYONE would be a step back. And as someone noted we're not pulling in the talent like we were during our elite run... so unless you've got a 'can't miss' guy in mind I give Goodwin another year.
