Indisputable word means nothing.

Time and again, refs use video replay to overturn plays that, per the rules, must have INDISPUTABLE video evidence to overturn.

They need to take that word out of the rulebook if they aren’t going to abide by it. Indisputable means anyone who looks at it will draw the same, OBVIOUS conclusion. That was NOT THE CASE!!! Not obvious whatsoever that that wasn’t a catch!!!

Relax dude. He never had control or possession of the ball. Not even for a second.

But they called it a touchdown...there was not indisputable evidence in the replay to contradict that. Too much going on to tell

The call on the field was wrong. That’s why they reversed it.

Refs using the word "indisputable" is as useless as a recruit using the word "committed"

Reduce the review time to one minute. That would solve most of this subjectivity.

Not a bad idea… if it’s not obvious that the call on the field was wrong after 60 seconds, keep the call the same

yep, when they blow up the picture to show a blurry pixelated shot..... Not 'obvious' to overturn...play should stand.

I’ve seen many calls through the years reversed by dubious evidence at best

Precisely. The goal should be to get the call right more so than just to follow a procedure.

You can't require indisputable evidence when the on the field referees make such a terrible call live.

I don't really mind the standard used to overturn a play that is generally used, but agree that standard is not indisputable. If they changed the verbiage to "highly likely", I wonder if the standard would change to require less evidence to overturn a play.
