it indicates "one or more" candidates were "still involved in the NFL/CFP's"......

That's a pretty small sample size so I think we can safely narrow it down to a handful of viable candidates.

I think “may be” was sprinkled in that verbiage somewhere. Not that I’m opposed to that line of thinking.

Just a hunch, but I think Leonhard is the guy he’s after. I also think that’s the best of all the names that’ve been mentioned.

It could be an assistant coach. Terry Joseph of Texas has been very successful

at several stops now as defensive passing game coordinator. We'd definitely need a linebackers coach though.

I agree that we need a good LB coach now! Setting the edge was often the beginning of our difficulties with the run defense this past year. The defensive ends have to be able to trust the positioning of the linebackers and their understanding of where the ball is probably going in order to just play without thinking about too much. It seemed to me that the defensive ends were sometimes hesitant to slide out too far for fear that the "cut back" gaps were not going to be filled...maybe wrong, but it just seemed like that to me, and that is not as much a reflection of the players as it is the coaching...anybody share that thinking?
