Clemson will be the first team to ever go undefeated in a 12-team playoff bracket. Anytime the game has been close is because of the lack of depth in many positions on the defense. Also, linebacker play was suspect for about 9 games this season. Imagine a Clemson team with a fearful defense again. Could you imagine what the score of each game would have looked like? Too many teams had come from behind efforts to almost win against the Tigers this season. Whenever the Power Rangers were there and had backups that could handle their own, there was no chance of any team coming back to win the game.

TIGHTER COVERAGE

HARDER HITTING

Those are the ingredients to a fearful defense.

He has to be fired as the Oklahoma HC before BV will ever head back south. I would rather have BV back than I would us recruiting another DW4 or Trevor Lawrence, but as long as he is the HC at Oklahoma that will never happen!!!

We’re just a competent DC and a few recruiting classes away from getting back there. To be fair with the portal / NIL I don’t know that anyone will ever enjoy that level of depth again that we had in 2018. But the rest is certainly achievable once we get Wes out of the way
