I hate the NC bias as much as anyone.
But the crowds will start picking up tonight.

I would love for Duke to have lost but reaLLY HAVING THEM THERE TONIGHT GIVES PHILLIPS NO WHERE TO HIDE IF THE HAVE MOSTLY EMPTY SEATS. THey need a better format and marketing or something

The Ga Tech/FSU/Clemson baseball coaches didn't want double elimination because it tears up your pitching before the NCAA tournament starts.
That's why they went to pool play.

Sorry, do play tonight.
Why do they mess with the seeding times? If played in the afternoon yesterday would play same slot normally the next day with the same amount of games,at least in conference basketball. Guess they give the higher seeded NC teams night games for better attendance?

I think they give the afternoon game to the team who has been playing the earliest this tournament. That would be Cal. So Cal gets the 3 o’clock game and we are the 7 pm game. Instead of 4 games today (Like the past 2 days.) there are 2 games today and 2 tomorrow. So the teams who have been playing at 9am and 5pm get the 3pm games today and tomorrow. While the other teams who played the 1pm and 9pm game get the 7 o’clock time slot.

I was wrong on the last part. The past 9am team plays 3 o’clock today, the past 1pm team plays 7pm today. While the 5pm team form yesterday play tomorrow at 3 and BC plays at 7pm later.
