Brownell has has 14 years so to expect far more than he has delivered is being A TRUE CLEMSON fan. I have never not once wished for Clemson to lose but I have and will continue to expect more from a tenured coach!!! Now run along and enjoy your crush!!

rank you with the games you have attended and your “supposed” loyalty. I have had the same tickets at Littlejohn since it opened. . Knew Tate’s Lock and Bill Foster well. I have witnessed the ups and downs too many times so BACK OFF, GROW UP and be a win or lose Clemson fan.

His supporters may as well be George Bush declaring “Mission Accomplished”. Winning the whole G-D thing is the mission. Go get it. And if the players are openly playing to support their coach and talking trash to the “Fire Brad” crowd then they’ve made it part of the narrative and are basically saying they needed the external motivation. Were they playing to support him against BC? That game turned the heat up to 11. Even Cobbox joined the Lunatic Fringe that day. Maybe they need to believe that beating Baylor wasn’t enough.
Btw - great game. Great weekend for Clemson sports. Hope Hunter can figure out what the switch was before these two games, because that’s the difference.

I believe BB himself would have said he needed some post season success. Seems many take this sort of thing personally. I don’t care if you win 25 a year it’s not good if you are bounced in the first round of the NCAA’s or ACC tourney’s.
I’m hoping something like this run is a stepping stone in building a consistent NCAA resume. He is showing he is capable just needs to widen that pipeline of getting good players on a consistent basis. They are allocating more resources so that should help as well. Lots of eye balls on these games and for a change there will most definitely be some AD’s looking BB’s way after this season.
