Whether you like him or not Brownell is now officially the most successful basketball coach in Clemson history.
I’m enjoying this tournament team and that’s a credit to Brownell.
Let’s stop the hate and come together at least until we are out of the tournament. Or like I predicted in my bracket and win the whole danm thing!
After that we can then continue to either like or hate that Brownell is the coach.
I won’t have anything else derogatory towards the program after tonight but to each is own.

I am absolutely going to celebrate the win and cheer on these players. But in no way has BB magically erased the past 14 seasons with this sweet 16 run.
No doubt cheer on these players. They deserve our support as Clemson fans. I am definitely willing to set aside our differences in opinion on BB. With that said he still has a loong way to go to earn trust from myself and the majority of Clemson fans.

I’d put a lot of money on a vote from the fan base. I know you wouldn’t. It would be pretty lopsided on the fans who don’t trust BB for the long term success.

I am going to root for the tigers to go all the way, their
playing more consistently, and have a chance to continue to win.
If this becomes the new standard, then Brownell will stay forever.
We shall see the jury is still out on him.

I admit that I was one of those against Brownell until this run. I'll probably keep that same energy if the run fizzles out and the basketball program returns to it's mediocre state.
However, if Brad can win a natty then I'll be forever a Brownell fan the same as I am with Dabo and Danny Ford.
I believe most feel that way here.
Brad hasn't reached that point and I think that if the season ends the next game, I still believe we should give him another 4-5 years as he is a great person and a good coach.
It just seems like you bash the football program out of spite and that's not right if you truly are a Clemson man. Just saying.

You really can't oppose a Coach in this situation and not even suggest a viable alternative. It's a moot point now anyway. Brad isn't going anywhere.
