How is NIL money structured

Lump sum or spread out over season or year. What happens if players get full nil money then decided to transfer, does he have to give some of the money back or is it his to keep.

I feel like you're wanting to ask about revenue sharing when you said "NIL," but if not....

NIL cannot seem like "pay for play," so the individuals should get money either way. However, if they don't perform all deliverables of the NIL agreement, they won't be paid.

Businesses can be smart when structuring NIL deals to create time-based deliverables which would then create a necessity to be a part of the school at that time, with a kill-clause for the business in case they no longer desire the deliverable (say, due to a change in representation.... Example: kid changes school or gets arrested for something horrible).

Since we're pre-rev share, and collectives can control NIL dollars for now, schools can offer the same agreements. Bottom line: it just can't look like pay for play.
