If someone is at an 80% pulse rate but has over a 1000 more thumbs downs than thumbs ups over their posting history, how does it work exactly?

...just put 59 other posters on ignore and their TDs don't affect your pulse. The troll figured that out long ago.

I have the algorithm. It has one variable.

Compliment an orange haired former president and pulse goes up 1%.

Trash an orange haired former president and pulse goes down 1%.

It’s a percentage so you need the total number of posts to calculate.

I always thought the numbers when you hover over your pulse are the total votes cast up or down for you by others (the "pulse" would be a ratio of those numbers), and the votes cast are the votes you have given others (has no effect on your own pulse rate, but greatly effects those you cast votes "up" or "down" on).
