Offense looked good (from what I saw secondhand), but the pitching struggled despite giving up 3 runs after 12 innings. Most innings the bases got loaded and they had to work out of trouble, so that's good to see them come out unscathed, but when it's a real game, the runs will pile up. However, Dion Brown might be a dark horse closer candidate, as he's up to 95 mph and stronger. A few other guys hit 95 on the gun with Veasey and Nelson, but the command was lacking. Still some kinks to work out but overall, it was a promising sign for next season.

SO PITCHING GIVES UP 1 RUN IN NINE INNINGS AGAINST A GOOD SEC TEAM WITHOUT KNAAK, MOELLER, BENNETT, OR McGOVERN PITCHING BUT THEY STRUGGLED HUH. GOT IT. SMFH. WHERE DO THEY FIND YOU PEOPLE.

Defense was sharp, as mentioned it was a rotation of young guys. 44 is a beast.
