Off topic. It's COVID related though. I only knew one person that died from COVID. He was 75 years old and had health issues before. For such a deadly disease where the whole nation needed to shutdown, I am surprised I didn't know more people. Long story short, I am one of those ones, after time, that thinks that the whole thing was overblown for this country. I wonder what things would have been like today had we not shut everything down for so long. Anyway...

Actually I don't know them, they died. I know their families though.
Then you can add on about a dozen more from those sudden death deals. Healthy 38yo keels over from a heart attack/stroke/aneurism/whatever situation.
Personally, I know only 2 who died. And 2 others who were on vents at one point. Maybe 6-8 others who were hospitalized.
As for shutdowns, we didn't really. We had an unenforced please stay at home request for a month, then maybe 6 months of mask mandates. About it. Kids missed 3-4 weeks or so of school. Then one semester of staggered home/in person.
Still, about 800 people died last week from covid. Covid still kills more than a bad flu season each year.
The worst thing about covid isn't really talked about much, and that's the long-term problems it causes. And even though we know the problems, we don't know how they will present, until they do. We knew about the clots, the myocarditis, we know it depletes certain T cells, some B cells, and infects almost every organ system, and alters our mitochondria, and.....just a lot of nasty stuff it does. If people didn't get it but once, or maybe once every 5-8 years on average, like the flu, you could write off some of that. But when people get it yearly, on average, and some several times yearly, again will take time to see what happens.

I knew two people that died from it, and one that was SEVERELY sick...

The two people that I know that died from it were in the age range of 55-60. I think they both died before the vaccines were available.
The other person that I know who was severely sick was in the hospital for months with it, and on a ventilator for a while. He survived it, and got out of the hospital (Thank God). But he is permanently disabled, essentially having to give up his business. I think his sickness hit after the vaccines were available, but I don't think he got the jabs...but I'm not 100% sure on that, maybe just 95% sure.

Remember how viciously the ones in power fought against the use of a safe drug like Ivermectin? There’s one reason and only one reason they did that. A lot of credibility was lost with leaders and the medical community.

One more thought on this. A healthy 60 year old friend of ours died from Covid. She was admitted to Spartanburg Regional and was only getting worse. Her family begged the doctors to at least try Ivermectin. They refused. She’s dead now and the family live with “what if?” If they had given the harmless Ivermectin and she still died at least the family would have peace of mind knowing everything was done that could have been done. They do not have that peace now. Why?

God bless her family and I'm sure that was awful.
Ivermectin does not help with Covid. It has been tested over and over, and it does not work.

Your friends can feel however they want, and it's their right. But the Ivermectin would have been no help.
Was your friend vaccinated against covid?
And I know some who are vaccinated against it still die, because their underlying issues are too much for their immune system, even with the jab.

She was fully vaccinated and had zero health problems. Not even on a single medication.

Pretty good for other uses though. But I always gave it to my horses and never had parasite problems.
