Sorry, but you tend to bring it on whether you realize or not. Your repeated barbs don't go unnoticed with regard to the football Team and those of us who don't follow round ball.

In case you haven’t noticed, we are coming off one of our most disappointing seasons in the Dabo era, have just had one of our worst recruiting classes in years, and Dabo just promoted from within to fill two vacancies without even interviewing any outside candidates. Of course there will be questions and concerns.
But all of that isn’t relevant to this thread, because my post was supposed to be funny. I should’ve known better than to try to make a joke about football.

Ending with a 10 win season, with many injuries and young players, having a coach with a succession plan he executes perfectly, getting the core group of talent we got on EARLY sogjjnh day, the confidence I have that the best CFB will round out the class for teams that cam compete with anyone next year and beyond, and yes having a CULTURE I am proud of and represents my alma mater well….I’ll be over reviewing the trophy case with all the Dabo era conference titles, bowl championships and national titles to protect me from the falling sky you see. If I change my mind Judge, I’ll holla at you. Will you be over admiring Brownells trophy case??

You’re not allowed to speak your mind here. If you say something against the football team or coaches you’re gonna get the common reply…. “I’ve been a clemson fan since 1970” or “I’m a 4th generation Clemson graduate” or “I’ve sat through the Ford, Hatfield, West, and Bowden years and I will pull for Clemson even if they went 0-12….
Point is everyone feels the same. It’s just that some of us will say what we mean and mean what we say. We don’t pump sunshine like the majority on here.

Humor is lost on every thread anymore unless you are TigerBalm! Somehow he pulls it off without getting blasted, i guess if every post is humorous them it's expected. Someone else post something funny or sarcastic and they get blasted. The fun days of comical bickering has ended on forums for the most part.

Look, as long as Dabo doesn't use the transfer portal we'll be fine.
There's no need to get an elite player from the portal when you have a coach's son who can contribute moral support for 4 years on the bench.

Goodwin mentioned “the girls” in an interview the other day so I think he just has daughters. But they are probably young enough that by the time they get to college football might be a coed sport then.

6 Playoff appearances and 7 Conference Championships . They can put all their children and all of their nephews and nieces too on scholarship!

I like the joke. Yes, of course I stay abreast of the coaches kid's. Clay Swinney will play at Clemson. He is undersized but has good hands as a WR. Also holds for extra points and FG's. Mickey Conn has a son that is graduating as well. Plays safety. Of course Pearman's son is the QB. None of these fine young men are mentioned in Rivals top 25 for SC but what do they know. Stars don't matter. I am hearing that Pearman and Conn will pursue legitimate offers at an appropriate level but that's just rumor. Would like to know more if anyone is aware of their plans.
