He was so dominant at Clemson

especially his junior year going undefeated in the
regular season and winning a bunch of awards and
being the top draft pick, that we all thought he
was going to be an awesome pro. He started kind
of strong, but overall had an average career at best.
Had some injury issues and other distractions.

He always reminds me of what my son's little league coach
for 7 years occasionally said: "Three things will mess up
a good ball player's career - injuries, drugs, and girls".
I think Benson had issues with the first and third.
